Fall 2024 Session:
THEME: Artist's Passport Travel the World through Art- Kids take an around-the-world cultural adventure. They explore far-off places and learn about the people who live there, from the Americas to Polynesia, from the city to the countryside. They experiment with Crayola products, while trying art techniques developed by local artists and artisans. They make different masterpieces each week such as drums, masks, canvases, prints buses and more.
Winter 2024/Spring 2025 Session:
THEME: Sticky, Shrinky, Shiny ART-ventures- The amazingly imaginative 2 and 3 dimensional projects in this program will inspire children's creativity as they experiment with a variety of unique are forms, tools, and techniques. Art explorers create Sequined Mexican Mirrors, Macaroni Mandalas, and Shrinky Dink Animal Pendants. Make Funny Felt Monsters, paint Ceramic Snail Banks, and create Mini Canvas Paintings with Easels. Design personalized Pencil Cases, sculpt Sweet Treat Clay Desserts, and learn how to draw Perspective Landscapes. Plus, paint Goofy Animals on canvases, create Colorful Pillowcases, and sculpt Clay Flying Pigs. These projects and more introduce children to a world of artistic wonder while we encourage their own original ideas and their own unique perception and interpretation of art.
