Granby Nature Preschool is a farm and nature preschool for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds based at Holcomb Farm in West Granby. We are a 5-day program for morning, afternoon or full day, except Fridays which are half day, with visits or visitors to/from local farms and nature trails. We embrace outdoor living and learning, and plan to be outside for some part of every day except in extreme weather. Indoors in our space at The Barn at Holcomb we will enhance our learning through community living, relationship building, caring for one another and our plants, and with art, movement, music and storytelling activities.
Our program is 5 days/week half day or full day. (Our five-day program is a 4-day/½-day structure.) We are not offering part time options (for example 3 days/week) at this time.
Lunch Bunch Option 4 days
Lunch Bunch is a 1-hour social extension of the half-day programs to allow children community time with classmates and those in the other half-day sessions. Children bring their own lunches and share conversation and possible guided activities.
GNP follows the Granby Public Schools calendar.

Fridays, 9:15-11:45 AM (Friday mornings are always included in the ½ day programs)

5-days/week half day program - $6,500/year
5-days/week full day program - $12,000/year
Lunch Bunch for half day children – $ 500/year
33% due upon registration

34% Remaining Balance due February 1st
Rolling Enrollment – GNP will offer rolling enrollment for new students including children who turn 3 after school begins. New students will start at the 1st of every month. We will pro-rate on a monthly basis.
Refunds
Refunds will be granted up to 30 business days prior to the start of the program less 25% of your program fee.
Granby Play Dates at Granby Nature Preschool Holcomb Farm
First Friday afternoon of each month 1-2:30 pm. These FREE monthly gatherings are opportunities for a parent and their child age 2-4 to meet and play with others. The mostly unstructured sessions include free play and conversation, and may include a story, a nature walk in the meadows or woods, or a nature project. Bring your own nut free snack. GNP encourages healthy snacks in waste-free containers. Pre-Registration is required at www.GranbyRec.com
Granby Nature Preschool and Kindergarten Admissions Tours
Third Thursdays of (most) months 11am-12pm. Prospective parents are invited to come to Granby Nature Preschool and Kindergarten at Holcomb Farm and learn about our program, to see our indoor and outdoor classrooms, and to ask questions about our school. Pre-Registration is required at www.GranbyRec.com
