Granby Recreation is excited to be able to offer these creative and fun DIY Workshops hosted by Bouquets of the Valley:
Bohemian Crochet & Lace Dream Catcher
January 20, 2019 2 - 4pm
Linda and Alisha of Bouquets of the Valley will show us how to make a Bohemian Crochet & Lace Dream Catcher.
Quality antique lace, vintage trims, and beautiful ribbons including beautiful hand made laces, crocheted trims, tea dyed ribbons, and other exquisite trims will be used to make a heirloom quality piece of textile art.
The price is $40, which includes all supplies.
Valentine Garland Workshop
February 3, 2019. 2-4pm
Is your style Shabby Chic, Victorian, Romantic, Vintage, Retro, or Modern? It doesn't matter because we will provide the materials for you to make a unique Valentine Garland, Bunting, or Pennant Banner that will be the perfect one for you or to gift to a special Valentine.
Linda and Alisha from Bouquets of the Valley will provide the materials including paper cutouts, hearts, lace, buttons, ribbons and other whimsy.
Bring yourself, your creativity, and, optionally, any momento that you want to include.in your garland. (special photo, lace doily, baby bootie, etc.)
Cost for this workshop is $25.includes all supplies
DIY Succulent Terrarium Workshop
March 17, 2019 2-4pm
Learn the basics of how to build your own succulent terrarium!
Linda and Alisha from Bouquets of the Valley will be teaching this really fun and popular workshop.
All materials for one basic terrarium will be included (drainage stones, soil, and three small succulent plants). You can purchase additional plants at workshop.
You may bring other decorative elements to add to the terrarium to make it your own (figurines, crystals, shells, etc).
Cost for this workshop is $45.00 includes all supplies.
DIY Spring Nest Centerpiece Workshop
April 7, 2019. 2-4pm
Linda and Alisha from Bouquets of the Valley will be showing you how to make a Spring Nest Centerpiece using grapevine, moss, nests, and faux spring florals so it will last. They will also discuss how to incorporate fresh florals into the centerpiece.
The price for this is $45 includes all supplies.
DIY Lace & Ribbon American Flag Wall Hanging
May 5, 2019 2-4pm
Linda and Alisha from Bouquets of the Valley will be showing us how to craft a gorgeous heirloom quality Lace and Ribbon American Flag Wall Hanging.
The key to this gorgeous flag is the layers of different quality antique lace, vintage trims, and beautiful ribbons.
When finished, it will measure approximately 18 inches x 27 inches.
Cost for this workshop is $55 includes all supplies.
