This program is for students who would like to have fun developing their thinking skills and creativity. Students will engage in a variety of activities that will enhance their abilities and build confidence in trying new things.



Creative Problem Solving - Logic and Strategy - Improvisational Theater Games - Higher Order Thinking Skills - Psychology & Philosophy - Communication - Collaboration & Teamwork

About Our Instructor
This unique program is taught by Patti Cornell, a Granby resident with many years of experience teaching gifted/talented programs in public schools and home school settings. Mrs. Cornell also runs workshops through the Connecticut Association for the Gifted Minds in Motion series, as well as providing CPS training to adults and children in her role as Training Director for Destination Imagination in Connecticut. Mrs. Cornell holds a current CT teaching certificate for grades Pre-K and K, and for grades 1- 6.
